Lemonade

Lemonade

Lemonade might as well be called “Milk, Milk, Lemonade” since its origin is based in the immature children’s rhyme. You know the one. Amy Schumer ended up doing some sort of rap song rhyme thing about it. I, personally, haven’t seen it because I’m Amy Schumer’ed out, and had enough of her overexposure. I’m sure I’ll see it at some point. I’ve heard people raving about it, but I’m just not “ready” yet, if that makes sense.

I remember, as a kid, watching the movie Problem Child. Or maybe it was Problem Child 2… anyway there’s a scene where some kids have a little lemonade stand, and they ask the proverbial Problem Child if he has any lemonade. He takes the jug, and pees in it. The children say something along the lines of “that’s it?” to which the Problem Child responds “it’s all I have” with a wink and a shrug. I laughed and laughed.

I had a lemonade stand of my own as a kid. But only once. It wasn’t very fun at all.

Here is our Archive of all published Mousebear Comics. Marvel at how terrible the quality used to be (or still is). These are merely cynical musings of two cautiously handsome Schadenfreudes. That’s right, we are increasingly bitterly or sneeringly distrustful, contemptuous, or pessimistic.

We welcome you to our accumulation of visual historical records organized over the lifetime of Mousebear Comedy. These comics have been selected for permanent or long-term preservation on grounds of their enduring personal value.
