Clear! is an idea that originated as a sketch “stinger” so to speak… a sketch that lasted less than thirty seconds. It’s another example of completely random humor that almost doesn’t make sense. It’s hard to describe why I like this idea –which got a great response live on stage– and whether or not it translates well to strip form.
The doctor just doesn’t make any sense. It’s impossible to “cease to have ever been born” but the doctor reveals this so dramatically that it’s tough not to believe him. I never wanted to be born. I didn’t choose to live in this world. I didn’t choose to be who I am today. Not having been born would be a great gift. Wait, what?
